The professor opens the books and assigns the first grade that<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">comes to mind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF HISTORY:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">All students get the same grade they got last year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF PHILOSOPHY:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">What is a grade?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">LAW SCHOOL:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">Students are asked to defend their position of why they should receive an A.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF MATHEMATICS:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">Grades are variable.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF LOGIC:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">If and only if the student is present for the final and the student has<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">accumulated a passing grade then the student will receive an A else the<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">student will not receive an A.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">Random number generator determines grade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">MUSIC DEPARTMENT:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">Each student must figure out his grade by listening to the instructor play the corresponding note (+ and &#8211; would be sharp and flat respectively).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">DEPT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;\">Everybody gets an A.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Page 1 University Grading Policy &nbsp; Here are ways that college professors grade their final exams: DEPT OF STATISTICS: All grades are plotted along the normal bell curve.
